The Coffee Travel Mug Hidden Camera is a nifty new covert hidden camera that takes an innocent looking coffee container, and puts in the lid a covert camera, long life battery, and SD card recording.
The great part is that it has one button operation, so when you go out to record some covert surveillance video, all you need to do is press the top of it for 2 seconds, and it will turn it on, and start recording. Point the lens at what you want to record and set it down.
And if you have problems with people stealing from you at the office, this nifty hidden camera will spill the beans on who might be stealing your stuff. Just set it down to do it’s thing; no one will suspect this has a camera in it recording their every move.
You have to format the SD card before you use it, and we made a video of how to do that here. I don’t think I have ever seen a spy camera that requires you to format it specifically for that particular camera, though it only takes a minute.
It does come with a fake lid, so you can pretend you are drinking out of it, but you should not put the camera on when there is coffee in there or it will ruin it because its not waterproof, or in this case, coffee proof.
It records in nice & clear 640 x 480, or if you want flip a switch to put it in 1280 x 720 recording, or 720p. On a full charge, we got it to record for 225 minutes in lower resolution, which is 3hours and 45 minutes.
